Unattractive jobs, outdated construction methods and a strong backlog in the digitalization and networking of processes characterize the construction industry in a cross-industry comparison. In addition to the lack of workers willing to carry out this physically demanding work, construction noise and dirt as well as the unnecessary transportation of excess material back to the site are environmentally damaging aspects of conventional construction sites. The current construction situation is forcing the industry to make longterm investments in new, innovative systems, which is why the topic of %u2018prefabrication%u2019 is increasingly coming to the fore at a political and legal level. Rimatem is countering these challenges by developing efficient, innovative systems.Rimatem considers the entire process and develops automated, safe and sustainable systems for the planning, production and assembly of factory-based modular walls made of all types of blocks. The use of open data standards ensures detailed, information-rich 3D planning and the seamless integration of all customer-specific processes. This allows interfaces to be reduced and planning errors to be avoided right from the start of the project thanks to model-based, transparent communication between all parties involved.Construction methods with flexibility and material diversityWith its wide range of automated masonry machines, it can produce customized wall elements made of (light weigt) concrete blocks, autoclaved aerated concrete blocks, sand-lime blocks and bricks up to 3.50 m high and 9.00 m long in wall thicknesses of 10 to 50 cm, including built-in parts such as roller shutter/blind boxes. The fully automatic new development RA1 completes the range of services, enabling flexible, scalable system solutions for the production of individual wall geometries using mineral building materials for different construction projects with guaranteed quality.Rimatem also offers a patented logistics and assembly system using Vario and crane traverses, guaranteeing defect-free transportation and subsequent Unstacking the AAC blocks with robots.
